She was trying to remember to breathe, convincing her stomach to calm down, and was lamenting the fact that she couldn't take kombucha on the plane. She should have arrived in Madrid early this morning (Wed.), had a nice Spanish desayuno, and hopped on a plane to Marseilles. Hopefully she'll let us know she made it, and will have a few of those terribly horrific but in hindsight hilarious travelling stories. After 27 years of children, I have an empty nest and it may be the worst feeling I've ever had.
